Idoine, Séverine Bascouert & Sammy Stein

Sitting on the pebbles in the dry riverbed of the Bléone, we spoke with Séverine Bascouert and Sammy Stein in August 2025.

The conversation touches on how matter transforms and reality hallucinates; how they navigate their artistic practices; the sensitive mappings they evolve within; and their explorations of peripheral spaces and times—along steep paths, through underground galleries, and in the middle of the woods, always with love, and driven by an endless passion for books.

We are delighted to share the fruit of this discussion in words and images in the new issue: Idoine, Séverine Bascouert & Sammy Stein.
